Tyler Perry casts Whitney's daughter in his TBS sitcom

Tyler Perry recently cast Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina in his TBS sitcom "For Better or Worse". Bobbi Kristina is cast in a recurring role in the sitcom which debuts its second season in July. Bobbi Kristina's mother, Whitney died on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February.

Last month, Oprah Winfrey interviewed Bobbi Kristina and pulled in 3.5 million viewers. That was the biggest audience and viewers for the network which is a co-venture of Oprah's Harpo and Sliver Spring based Discovery Communications. During her interview with Oprah, Bobbi Kristina hinted at being cast as an actress saying that she planned to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a singer and an actress.

Tyler Perry spoke at Whitney's funeral which was televised by the media.
